Author: George Anderson

I am retired and now enjoying the fruits of my many years of working. Riding my 2009 Goldwing when ever I can. My first bike was a 1942 Harley an ex Military bike. When I brought it home on a trailer by my uncle who rode one of these in the 2nd world war overseas as a dispatch rider. I had never rode a motorcycle before. My uncle unloaded it and left. I didn't even know how to start it. Didn't need a motorcycle licence then and I had a license for a car. Didn't take long before I was riding on the gravel roads of Surrey and was never home. Took a few years off riding to raise a family. When I got back to riding had to apply for a class 6 endorsement and take all the tests. Past on the first try for all stages. Since then have taken the advanced rider training from BC Safety Council twice. Have participated in other places to enhance my riding safety.
