Four of us left the usual starting point this morning in dry weather. It was calling for rain in some of the areas we were traveling to so decided to dawn rain gear just in case. Did get on/off sprinkles in some areas but after the Mosquito Creek Road sidetrip off highway 9, rain stopped and only cloudy skies to deal with. We were down to three riders after the Sumas border crossing due to one bike having battery issues. Nice and quiet at the Diablo Dam on arrival but more sightseers showed up as we were leaving. Great stop for lunch at Mondo’s Diner in Marblemount on the way back. Home by 5 and enjoying a refreshment in beautiful sunshine!
