21-09-19 Ride to Surrey, Tsawwassen, White Rock 128km
This morning’s weather forecast was for rain and more rain but when I got up this morning it was only cloudy, I thought the weather God has shone his light on Langley RoadRiders once again. So without breakfast I headed for McDonalds for this Sunday ride I didn’t think anyone would be there because of the threat of rain. When I was near I saw a motorcycle there and on it was Stan, he came all the way from Vancouver for this ride.
This ride may be the shortest ever LRRMC Sunday ride as we normally ride 300 to 700 km on Sundays. Headed out onto # 10 heading west to 176 St. and on to the South Perimeter road joining River road near Tilbury Island, First stop was at white Spot in Tsawwassen for breakfast at 9:10am, this is half way of this short route today. Stan and I agreed to lengthen the ride and extend it to Ladner and Steveston then who knows where after that. We rejoined the planned route after a ride by Boundary Bay airport. Crescent Rd and home through White Rock. Light sprinkle of rain from Ocean Park to Home.
