This morning four bikes with riders met at McDonalds. Cloudy skies did not keep us from starting out on this scheduled ride. As we got further north though we found the rain coming from the overhead clouds and it was getting heavier as we traveled on our route. By the time we had passed the Taylor rd exit the rain was heavy. Next exit we pulled over and the agreed upon decision was to turn back and find dryer roads. Grant led us to Trev Deeley’s motorcycle museum. For 2 hours we browsed, discussed the antique bikes. Next stop was to north of the Pitt Meadows airport to see the motorcycle practice and track days at the Justice Institute Traffic Safety Centre, https://pittmeadowstrackdays.ca/about/ Riders can enroll in practice sessions / training on a course laid out on the tarmac, The chief instruction, Randy Cook is a honorary member of Langley RoadRiders. Before my time with this club he attended some meetings to talk about safe motorcycle riding. Once we got back out of the rain it turned out to be a good day.
