This sunny morning was still a little cool when ten bikes met at McDonald’s for this last day in March ride. For a chance for it to warm up we planned to have breakfast at Brogan’s Diner where we met one more member. Now with bellies full eleven bikes head out with the temperature warmer we rode east but as far south as we could and still be in Canada to Majuba Hill road. Through Chilliwack the long way and over the Agassiz bridge to Harrison for lunch at Old Settlers Pub. The planned lunch place (Muddy Waters Cafe) was over full with people as you might expect on a sunny day at Harrison Hot Springs. Lunch was served fast and we were on our way in the planned time frame. More off the beaten path to Hwy 7 then up to Stave Lake and home via Golden Ears bridge. Long enough ride I am sure for a few members that had very recently insured their bikes for the season. I thought we could stop for the traditional Ice cream on the way home as we were going through Maple Ridge, but I made the turn on 232 st and should stayed on Dewdney Trunk rd until 224th st. As we crossed the Golden Ears the group each went the way they needed to to get Home. I was the only one left by the time I got to Langley and I knew where the Dairy Queen was. so one only chocolate Sundae. Pictures
