This morning was cool and cloudy with a promise from the weather person of sunny skies in the afternoon. They were correct, it was 10 degrees as the L.R.R.M.C. left McDonald’s to join others at the planned breakfast stop at Big Als in Blaine. The plan worked out well exactly. We followed the ocean view where possible to Bellingham and beyond as we traveled along Harbor View, Birch Bay, Chuckanut Drive and heading south east almost to Big Lake, over to Beaver lake, Clear Lake and the it was time for lunch in Sedro Woolley at Joys Bakery. (Good lunch) After lunch 1/2 the group headed for I-5 and home the other 1/2 carried on the planned route which was up to Cain Lake over to Whatcom Lake, Mirror Lake, Mosquito Lake, Silver Lake and home through Linden. By this time the sun had appeared and disappeared a few time, but the temperature had reached 15 degrees. Pictures
