18-09-23 37th Anacortes Oyster Run

This morning it was raining when I woke up this morning so i looked at the weather forecast and read the prediction which said the rain would stop @ 7:40 am  So I decided to give it the benefit of doubt and Go to McDonald’s but didn’t expect to see any body show up for this ride. Just goes to show you never know what can happen. To bikes arrived just before 8:00 am our normal departure time. The rain had almost stopped and I thought maybe the weather person had enough luck to win the lottery and made a good call. Rain gear on we headed out on the pre-planned route. The border line up was very long, but the Nexus line was empty. Once into the US we rode on I-5 to exit 270 and over to the Rusty Wagon for breakfast. Unexpectedly we got sat at a table right away. Just got sat down and two more came in and joined us. Breakfast completed we took the long way to Anacortes oyster run The rain stopped and before we got there and  sun was warm. After a brief walk to see some of the bikes and people on the crowed streets and sidewalks three left and rode to Big Lake Diner for lunch. The other two left went on their own to get some oysters or something. The route we rode were very motorcycle friendly with good pavement, lots of curves and not to much traffic. Pictures
